I can't recommend Creative Comfort Solutions highly enough.
I bought a house with a heat pump HVAC system that had been improperly sized from day one. Over the past few years, I had multiple HVAC companies come out trying to retrofit or "patch" the system. Nothing ever fully addressed the root problems, and eventually the system began to fail altogether. On top of that, my electric bills were astronomical, and I struggled to keep my first floor above 64 degrees in winter.
When I finally decided to get new quotes, Michael, one of the owners of Creative Comfort Solutions, was the last company to come out—and immediately stood out. He's personable, funny, and approachable, but more importantly, he has real problem-solver energy. Instead of pushing me to immediately replace everything, Michael suggested bringing out one of his top technicians to fully evaluate the system first. If I decided to move forward with them, that visit would be credited toward a new system. That alone told me this company wanted to solve the problem, not just sell equipment.
Their technician Nick came out and spent over an hour thoroughly inspecting everything. He confirmed what I already suspected: there was no realistic way to save or fix the existing system. That level of honesty was refreshing.
Michael then sent over a quote for a dual-fuel HVAC system, something I had mentioned casually to Nick during the visit. The fact that this detail made it back into the proposal showed me how well this company communicates internally. Even more impressive, Creative Comfort Solutions included a comprehensive ductwork retrofit in the plan. Other HVAC companies had vaguely mentioned duct issues or possible return work, but no one had offered a complete, thoughtful solution like this.
Once we said yes, Michael returned with another owner, Joe, who handled the full system analysis. At that point, it was clear I had found a company that genuinely wanted this problem gone—for good.
During the final assessment, Michael walked me through some good news and bad news. The originally quoted York heat pump was no longer available. The good news? They upgraded us to a better, higher-efficiency York heat pump at the same price. That kind of integrity is rare.
Installation day sealed the deal. The Creative Comfort Solutions install team was not only excellent technically, but also polite, funny, respectful, and easy to have in the house. You can tell this is a company that treats its employees well—and that always shows in the work.
The result? We now have real, consistent heat on our first floor, dramatically improved comfort, and peace of mind. I genuinely believe Creative Comfort Solutions will stand behind their workmanship and equipment long-term.

Prompt and dependable
I have eight apartments with old forced air systems that require repairs, replacements and annual service. All my experiences over the years have been excellent. I particularly like that the phone is always answered, they schedule promptly especially in emergencies, they have skilled technicians, and they repair rather than replace whenever possible. They stand behind their work and come back without charge if it appears that something went wrong that should not have. Once when it took several tries to correct a complex equipment failure, they did not charge me for multiple visits or parts- just the final correct part that did the trick. They are honest, responsible and generous.
We had a heater urgent call before the big storm, and they were able to assess it and make the repair very quickly, before the storm hit. Including whatever parts they needed. Nicole and the technicians who come out communicate very well, let us know when they are on the way, are very professional, explain things clearly. We are really glad we found them for our mini- split system, and now for the heater. We recommend them highly!
