What a great company! Short version is that they saved me a LOT of money and helped me MUCH more quickly than a big company had been doing. I signed up for their full service contract and will refer them to others.

I called yesterday after having been 11 days without A/C. My old company-- I just had the pleasure of sacking them over the phone-- had given me such a runaround over those 11 days that I won't go into it all here. The old company has generally nice people on the customer service side, but apparently they had no connection with the field technicians. And the technicians didn't seem to care a bit about the customer service folks. The upshot is that after two misdiagnoses, then a (correct) diagnosis of a blown motor-- spread out over 4 days-- and then after being ghosted for 4 days, I was told by my old company that the motor wasn't covered by my premium service contract and was given what I could tell was an absolutely outrageous price for a replacement. And even at THOSE prices it wouldn't be available for 4 days.

When I called Creative Comfort on Day 10, near closing time, Russ (I believe) talked me through a lot of stuff. Very friendly, very honest about how they price their parts. He called a local distributor the next day and found the needed part in stock, and within hours Nate the Great had done a diagnostic check and installed it. And the cost was 40% of my old company's outrageous estimate, which I was not going to pay (but which too many people probably get intimidated into paying).

I signed on with their full service contract, heating and cooling, and learned that had I joined them a while ago my motor-- not covered under the big company's premium service plan-- would have been covered.

So I paid a price for not having found Creative Comfort sooner. I can live with that. But now that I know about them, I want others to know, too. Hoping for many years of a positive business relationship.

Wonderful experience with Creative Comfort. My a/c splits were installed 2 years ago and over the massive heatwave one of the splits started leaking, but they got someone out here to fix it that same day, and cleaned the clog that was causing the issues.
